Hardboard, called laminate, has proven its reliability for a long time. All kinds of products can be used on this door without damaging the surface. The only disadvantage of a laminate door is its finish. Either you do it with a laminate edge and you see that disturbing brown side, or you cover it with an ABS edge. The latter is a lot nicer but you can still see a layer of glue.
For some time now, ILWA has been finishing its laminate doors with a laser edge. This side is melted on the side of the door without glue. This high-tech finish gives your laminate door the appearance of a lacquered door, so no more visible joins!
